Love – Just Do It

There are many ways to define love and to act it out, but God’s love has a specific purpose – to love for the benefit of others. We can love others like God loves us – spouse and children included! Get inspired by God’s Word and some personal insights from Christine and Steph on how to teach and train yourself and your children in love.

Scriptures:

• 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 – Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;[a] 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
• 1 John 4:18 -There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
• 1 John 4:19 – We love because he first loved us.
• Galatians 6:9 – Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
• 1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
