Choose Home Education for Strong Family Relationships

One of the many benefits of homeschooling is the ability to have more time with each other and build stronger bonds between parent and child and between siblings. While there are many ways to create strong family ties, homeschool moms, Christine & Steph, share their personal experience and insights from their many home education connections to encourage parents to choose this growing education option.

Talking Points

  1. Family is God’s original institution. It’s where children are nurtured, trained, and loved.

When families are constantly rushed, fragmented, or overly scheduled, it’s hard to focus on being intentional about building a stronger family life. Homeschooling has the benefit of opening up

    • Space for real connection
    • Time set apart for connection

This allows us to really get to know one another.

  1. Overcoming Challenges Together:

Every part of each family members life is known by all in the household. By not separating from each other on a daily basis, there can be more support and encouragement in the home creating an atmosphere of security and love. Whether it’s serious issues or just a bad day, we are here to build each other up in our homes and we can’t do that as easily when we’re separated for hours every day.

  1. Practical ways to build a stronger family life:

Do life together! Make meals, do chores, go shopping, read the bible, go to church. It’s so easy for everyone to go in their own corners and do their own thing, but you might actually enjoy doing the regular, mundane things together with one another.

If you’re listening today and you feel like your family life isn’t where you want it to be—know this: God is in the business of restoration. Every day is a new chance to turn your heart toward Him and toward each other. You don’t have to change everything overnight—just take one intentional step.
